Takuto Stay Kyobashi Tsumiki, Osaka

Takuto Stay Kyobashi Tsumiki is a well-designed, beautiful hostel for a good, social (but not party) stay. It has a nice kitchen and ping-pong table, and big common areas and beds. Everything is clean.

The Location

This hostel has a good location and is very easy to find -- it's just seven minutes' walking to Osaka Castle and six minutes to Kyobashi Train Station, where there is AEON Mall with many shops and supermarket. It's next to Osakajokitazume Station. The Umeda Sky building is just under three kilometers away and Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is about three-and-a-half kilometers away. Dotonbori is just under four kilometers away. There is parking lot nearby.

Rooms and Bathrooms

There are different types of rooms -- Japanese-style, family room bunk bed, standard family room for four people, one person in ten-bed dormitory (mixed and female-only options are available), twin room, and double room. All of them are clean. In the ten-bed dormitory there is no door lock -- there are small lockers (you have to pay to use it). Each self-made bed is big and comfortable, with curtains for privacy.

There are plenty of cabin showers and toilets in the building and all of them are big -- some of them are female only or male only and there are mixed ones in the common area. The showers have a space for changing and a hook for clothes. Hot water and amenities -- shampoo, conditioner, body soap, free makeup remover cottons, sanitary pads, disposable shavers, and swabs -- are available, which is very convenient. Also available are hair dryers and a laundry bag for leaving used towels.

Common Spaces

At the entrance there is a shoe shelf and there are sandals for guests. There are plenty of maps, brochures, and information about Osaka and what’s nearby the hostel. The reception is nice and clean. There is a well-designed, beautiful common area with fully equipped kitchen including microwave, cutlery, blender, cooker, different types of cups, and dishes. There is a dining area, living room with manga collection, and projector screen for watching TV. There is another area with ping-pong table, punching bag, and vending machine. The washing and dryer machines are located here and there are hangers for laundry. There is a small rooftop for smoking on the fifth floor. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are available in all areas.

Summary

This is a very convenient, beautiful, and social hostel with many amenities that is clean and close to Osaka Castle. It's a good place to relax and have a nice stay. Check-in is from 3 to 10 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. There is no curfew at this hostel.
