• Somewhere To Stay Backpackers is located in the laid-baid inner city suburb of West End, at the corner of Brighton Road and Franklin Street. • The hostel is within walking distance to some of Brisbane's cultural and scenic highlights. They include The Gallery of Modern Art, the Queensland museum and Southbank Parklands. At Southbank you can hop on a free ferry and enjoy the views from the river or take advantage of cooling off in the man-made beach. It's not until you look across the river that there is a city at the other side. Brisbane is a modern city, relaxed and welcoming with the friendly attitude of its people. It mixes shopping, dining and nightlife with large extensive parks and gardens.
• From the airport, catch the con-x-ion bus (approximately between $15-$20 per person) which can you directly to the hostel, or the Airtrain ($17.50 per person) will take you to Roma Street Transit Centre and the hostel will pick you up free from there.
