CAREFUL!! INFESTED with BEDBUGS -- NOT SO CLEAN
We killed 3 bedbugs full of blood and got one in our luggage. FILTHY in the bedroom.
Cozy, impeccably clean, absolutely delightful and friendly host.
I spent my last night on my return trip to L.A. from a 7 day trip to Pt. Reyes in this most comfortable hostel. I was impressed with the location. Everything was within walking distance and Phil, my host was friendly, informative and helpful on the telephone. Staying here made me feel like I was already home and I really hated having to leave. The perfect place to stay for a short get away or half way point from S.F. to L.A. I have recommended this place to friends and I hope to return.
The best of the west coast.
This is one of the best hostels on the west coast. Nice cozy, homey, bed and breakfast type of hostel. If you planning on touring Hearst Castle this is the place to stay.
Nice place and friendly staff. Can highly recommend this hostel.
I stayed here in March of 2005. I've probably stayed in twelve to fifteen hostels in the U.S. and this hostel is one of the best I've stayed in. It's a very quaint, Martha Stewart atmosphere, but in a good way. The owners are friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I'll stay here again.
It's so cozy and clean. It doesn't hurt that it's surrounded by beautiful Cambria. I highly recommend it. it's one of the best hostels stateside!
Cozy, welcoming, open, wonderful. these are just some of the words I'd use to describe this place. The hosts were great and conversation with everyone visiting that evening was terrific. Thanks for such a great place to stay! This was a wonderful experience.
This was an extremely comfortable and cozy place to begin our trip up the California coast. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The staff and guests were very friendly with some enjoyable guitar playing. Cambria is a fun town. The inn is a short walk from the main street so it's pretty quiet. I had several good nights' sleep there.
