Surprisingly good

Clean, secure, well thought out in all ways. Being in the "red light district" is of little consequence. No hassles, no problems. Only minor, but street-facing room can get rather a lot of noise. Closing the double paned windows or using ear plugs reduce it a lot. Interior rooms apparently don't have this issue. I would stay there again.

Very nice hostel

Very good hostel, clean and nice. You feel home there thanks to the good atmosphere and the efforts made to make you feel comfortable. Great buffet for breakfast and served until noon! The only drawback is the location : it's convenient, because close to the main station, but it's in the red light district, so you might feel a bit uncomfortable going back home at night, especially if you're a girl.

Best hostel in 5 months of traveling Europe!!

These guys have down pat how to run a hostel. The have great wifi, that reaches all the rooms, a lift for the poor people on the 5th floor. Lockable storage bins under your bed, the beds made for you, there's a planned event every night so plenty of opportunity to meet people, there's a BBQ for 3 nights a week, so you can pick up dinner for 2 or if you prefer they have an awesome kitchen downstairs, where you'll also find a tv/DVDs and a pool table. If that's not enough you can also borrow a laptop off them to use and of course free printing for your bus/train/plane tickets. The only downside is the area, but I never felt unsafe. But they've certainly gone above and beyond to make up for it. Will definitely be back one day!!

Best Hostel in Germany!

It was very good Hostel! Totally renovated, very high level service, people are very helpful and nice! Most important for me was that they have good WIFI! And what was interesting that it was working perfectly well in rooms too!

Really great hostel!

Really great hostel, great breakfast for 4 euro, comfortable beds, clean rooms, great common room. Ive been to many many hostels and this is one of the most comfortable. The only heads up is the location ... unlike the red light district in Amsterdam, this get LOUD Fridays and Sats. Nothing that earplugs cant fix though!

One of the best hostel I have stayed

This hostel is newly renovated. Room and the shared bathroom is very clean. There's enough space in the room. Locker in the dorm is big enough to lock up my suitcase. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good location as it's very close to central station. Common room is lovely and the price of the drink and the food is reasonable. I feel very relaxed to have a drink and web surf in the common room at night But located at red light district, so I don't feel quite safe moving around the neighborhood at night. Not many nice restaurants and bars nearby (but that doesn't quite matter to me).
