• From Reykjavik by car or taxi:
• The best way to arrive at Snotra is by car. When arriving from Reykjavik, take the route no. 1 in direction to Vik, and drive for about 85 kilometers / 53 miles until you almost reach the town of Hella. Just before the town, take the right into route no. 25, in direction to Þykkvibær. Drive until you reach the town and the crossroad, where you take the right exit. We are the first big red building with white roof, with plenty of parking space in front of it.
• There is no direct connection by bus to the hostel, as there's a 17km distance between the bus stop and the hostel, so we highly recommend getting here by car.
