• We offer transport service from the airport and it costs 50.000 Colombian Pesos, or 20 USD. If you are interested, please let us know your flight number, exact time and date of arrival, and city of departure, and we'll schedule the pickup for you. You can pay to the driver in COP or USD.
• UBER. You can use the airport free WiFi and get one. It will probably send you a pick up location outside of the airport, so beware while walking there and be sure to set the pick-up location with the driver. It costs around $25.000 to $30.000 COP (A bit less than $10 USD)
• A cab from the airport will charge you around $ 45.000 Colombian Pesos (approximately 15 USD). Be careful with the non-official cabs and be sure to have Colombian Pesos before getting the cab. If the cab charges you more than $60.000, please contact us at the reception.
• By local transport/bus this is what you have to do: Outside of the airport you will find the line for the “Transmilenio” bus. First you need to buy the SITP card from one of the vendors next to the line. Then you take the bus M86 (red) or the Alimentador “Portal Dorado” (green) and you will get off at the station “Portal el Dorado”. Afterwards, inside the station take the Transmilenio (local Bus) route #1 until the station “Universidades”. Once you arrive there, head for the south exit (you will cross a pedestrian tunnel, and for reference, the mountains are always on the east) and leave the station. After leaving the station, head straight south and cross a big park with a (Bolivar) statue in the middle until you find the Carrera 4 Avenue with Avenida Jimenez Crossing (there’s a Juan Valdez coffee shop on the corner). Walk two blocks to the south, then turn right to the west, walk one block and then turn left and walk half a block to the south. On the left, you'll find the house with a green door and the sign “La Quinta”. This option is recommended if you are travelling by day, and if you are comfortable walking with your bags. It’s the cheapest one ($2.200 COP, meaning less than $1USD) but it can be the most complicated or risky if you do it in the night. Also, bear in mind that Transmilenio functions until 11 p.m.
