The Glebe Barn, a charmingly converted 19th century building, provides comfortable shared accommodation ideally suited for individuals, family holidays, group get-togethers, school/university trips or for hosting events, conferences, workshops and retreats.
Centrally located overlooking the harbour and dramatic coastline of the Scottish mainland, the Glebe is within close walking distance from local facilities and provides an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Eigg.
The friendly, family run hostel accommodates up to 22 people in 5 bedrooms in the main building (1 double room, 2 triple rooms, a 6 bunk room and an 8 bunk room) and an additional 2 people accommodated in a separate self contained annexe.
The Glebe is a lovely spacious building with outstanding coastal views from all bedrooms and living room. There is a large open plan living/dining room with centrally located log fire, well provisioned with books, games, sound system and WiFi access throughout the building. The large kitchen is fully equiped with a large gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, blender etc, and plenty of storage shelves in the pantry. There is also a drying room/lobby, laboratory room, laundry room (equipped with industrial sized washing machine and tumble dryer) and toilets/showers on each of the three floors.
The living room opens onto our peaceful south facing garden with extensive views of the Scottish west coast. The garden provides outdoor seating and a BBQ for you to relax outside and enjoy this stunning hebridean landscape.
