About Lotusland Hostel

Coming in Sep. 14th, 2008! LOTUSLAND HOSTEL, Nanning, China
Take a short walk from Nanning Train station or Airport shuttle terminal and you'll arrive at Nanning's first and foremost backpacker hostel. Conveniently located on the riverside, surrounded by a wealth of small restaurants, markets and shops, the Lotusland Hostel is the ideal place to base your stay in Nanning. It is also a FIRST of its kind, a family-run budget hostel in the heart of the provincial capital of Guangxi.
Our aim at Lotusland is to be a home away from home for all travelers who reach our doors, and to introduce as many people to the unique sights that Nanning has to offer. Although small - with two 6-bed dorms, two 4-bed dorms, two king-sized double rooms and one twin room – our hostel provides all the major conveniences and facilities you would expect to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible: spotless wash facilities with endless HOT WATER; on-site laundry service; café; FREE internet and WiFi; a 42'' TV with Chinese/English channels and large DVD collection; and even a Wii for games fans. In addition, although we are a ‘no smoking' hostel we have a roof-terrace where you can ‘light-up' as you please, or perhaps enjoy a BBQ, sunbathing, or just watching the world pass by.
Moreover our friendly staff are always on hand to give any advice or information to make the most of your time in Nanning. Lotusland signifies 'an idyllic realm of contentment and self-indulgence'. We sincerely hope you visit us, and trust you will come to love Nanning and the Lotusland Hostel as much as we do!
More about Nanning…
Although often overlooked, the bright and easy-going city of Nanning is a great traveller's destination in its own right, with great shopping, eating, and a host of beauty spots and places of interest for all ages. Thanks to its lush tropical climate and uniquely stress-free culture, Nanning is a clean, refreshing and a modern city, dubbed China's ‘Green City' for the great diversity of plant life lining the streets, parks and many gardens dotted throughout the city.
Nanning is surrounded on all sides by some of China's most inspiring landscapes and renowned tourist destinations, plus many lesser-known areas of natural beauty and cultural significance. As such, Nanning's excellent transport links make it the perfect base for discovering the rest of this stunning part of China, or an ideal stopover before or after travel to neighbouring regions and countries.
Considering this it is quite amazing that before Lotusland, Nanning has never had a hostel for backpackers at all! We are proud to be the first. Nanning is a beautiful city and we heartily welcome you to come visit us.
