Hostel Majdas instantly feels like home. This hostel is great for a homey stay and offers a very tranquil, relaxed atmosphere. It is ideal for solo travelers or those in groups. The hostel gives a very calming and caring vibe for all guests who enter the doors.
The Location
Hostel Majdas is very well located for those arriving in Mostar by bus -- the hostel is within walking distance from the bus stop and is easily found (the directions given in the hostel description make it very easy to navigate there). The hostel is located very closely to several shops and is well located for exploring the town of Mostar. The famous Old Bridge is a comfortable and safe walk away. There is opportunity to park a car or bike at the hostel.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Downstairs there are three dorm rooms (with more dorm rooms upstairs), each with eight-plus beds. The beds are bunk arrangements and provide each guest with a reading lamp, linen, pillow, and hanging rack for toiletries (very handy). Each guest also gets a large and clean towel upon arrival. Bottom bunks are fitted with sheer curtain to block our light and provide privacy. Each bunk is labeled with the guest's name to make it fun and easy to get to know one another. The dorm rooms are spacious but do not provide lockers for big backpacks. Lockers are available for personal items if required but are small. These lockers are not located inside the dorm rooms, they are in the walkway.
Dorm rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. The bathrooms are communal and unisex. There are six showers (plenty) available for use, plus two toilets with basin and mirror as well as three more basins and mirror in common bathroom space. These spaces are well set up and provide guests with enough space to change in. The showers have curtains and doors as well as stools and hooks for easy and comfortable use by guests. Automatic lights mean you do not have to worry about finding a switch or wasting power -- very useful for trips in the middle of the night.
Common Spaces
The hostel gives very friendly vibes and does not force but makes it easy to mingle with other guests. The dining spaces are comfortable and relaxing outside. The included breakfast is cooked with love and served to each person -- it's very pleasing to have such care given. The lounge areas are comfortable and homey. There are plenty of books and other activities to keep travelers occupied. The Wi-Fi connection is very strong throughout the whole hostel. There is a communal PC and printer available for use by guests. The kitchen provides guests with ample facilities and is large enough for use by several guests at a time.

This hostel is all you need in Mostar. It is ideal for solo and group travelers and gives great opportunity to make the most of seeing Mostar and its surrounds. The hostel is very well located, clean, and welcoming. The facilities are not limiting and make guests feel at home. This is a very well set-up hostel.

Location and Contact
Location
• The train and bus station are two buildings side by side in down town of Mostar.
• If you are taking the train: Immediately when you step outside of the train station building, please just walk left and you'll end up on the bus station.
• Then follow the description bellow:
• We are only 3min away from the station.
• When you arrive to the bus station in Mostar your bus will stop by one of the 10 platforms.
• After going of the bus please keep on walking from lower platform numbers to the higher ones.
• After passing the last platform you will end up walking on a side walk passing a small gas station on your right hand side ('EP' orange colored).
• Immediately after passing the gas station you need to cross the street and immediately take the first small street to the right.
• On the end of that street after 30meters take left and then immediately turn right on an other small street that will continue in to a path.
• By the end of that path, 20 meters away take left. An other 20 meters away you'll see a brown gate. That's where we are.
