A good, average hostel
This is a positive review. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were fine, but the WiFi was less than ideal and the location was pretty far from most of the prominent sights in Rome (a half hour walk to Ancient Rome and an hour to the Vatican). That, coupled with the fact that the WiFi failed to work for me, despite help from their staff, moved this review from a 4 star to a 3 star.
Kind people, great atmosphere, and perfect location
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was super helpful in helping us find the must dos of Rome. We also loved the people we met there. Highly recommend this place!
Got me a bed at the last minutes, 24 hr reception, super friendly
I needed a bed last minute for a single night and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean (with AC!), and although I didn't hang out in the common area or at the bar as I was there such a short amount of time, they seemed nice and full of friendly people.
Great experience
it was staying here, tours & party that they organized was the best! i'll be back for sure!
Awesome!
Everything was clean, people friendly and helpful, good air conditioning, lockers in the room, and a lively bar at night! It is in a great location too. Only downside I can think of -- really long line for bathroom/showers in the morning, but definitely well worth the money.
Nice Location, Very Friendly Staff
I stayed here in March 2007 for three nights. The place is just a walkable distance from the central station and easily accessible to main attractions in the city. The best part is of course the very friendly staff. There is no curfew and it's open twenty-four hours. So it was easy for me to check out at 5:30 a.m. and catch my train at 6 a.m. The rooms and beds are clean and well maintained. I will recommend to anyone to choose this hostel. Good luck.
Just ok
The rooms were pretty clean and breakfast was alright. Beyond that, can't think of much good to say. AC wasn't working in our room either night and they refused to give any kind of discount. Don't think I would stay here again.
Pretty nice place.
The hostel is really close to the train station and like a twenty-five-minute walk from the Colosseum and most of the big sights. Some days it wasn't all that clean as our room wasn't cleaned every day. The internet is relatively cheap. The people working at the desk were quite helpful and the breakfast is pretty good. But if you go in the summer prepare to sweat! It's just really warm in Rome in the summer and the A/C is pretty weak. And it doesn't turn on until like 9. But overall the place is pretty good. Breakfast included. No lockers in rooms.
