• Pitlochry Backpackers Hotel is located on Pitlochry's main street, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station. You can't miss it! It's the groovy looking building opposite the John Muir Trust.
• By Bus: Get off the bus at Fishers Hotel, walk up the main street ( you will be walking uphill, not downhill!). After about 2 minutes you will be on our doorstep. We are on the right hand side on the corner opposite MacKays Hotel and our main entrance is situated between the soap shop & the pound shop.
• By Train: From the North you will arrive on the correct platform, from The South, you must cross over the railway bridge and make your way to the exit of the station. At the exit, turn left and follow the road up to the main street and you will see MacKays Hotel in front of you. We are the building on the corner opposite MacKays and our main entrance is between the soap shop & the pound shop. This should take you about 2 minutes.
• By Car: From the North you will arrive into Pitlochry High Street and will see Mackays Hotel on a corner on your left hand side. Take the left turn here into Birnham Place, follow for short distance and turn right. You will see the entrance to our car park on your right hand side. Once parked, head back down to Mackays Hotel and turn left onto Atholl Road. You will see our front entrance on your left in between the pound shop & the soap shop.
• From the South, drive straight up the main street until you see Mackays Hotel on your right. Take the right hand turn into Birnham Place, go uphill a short distance, turn right and you will see the entrance to our car park on your right hand side.
