• BY CAR
• From San José take the Braulio Carrillo highway (Route 32) to Limón which goes through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Once you have exited the National Park, continue on Route 32 all the way to the city of Limon. This portion of the trip takes approximately 2 hours.
• Just before reaching the city of Limón, start following the signs towards Sixaola and Cahuita. You will now be on Route 36. Continue along this road for about 1 hour. You will cross several bridges and pass the town of Penshurst (where there is a gas station where you should fill up your tank) and the entrances for Cahuita and Puerto Vargas.
• When you arrive at Hone Creek, there is a sharp right turn with signs, continue straight to go to Puerto Viejo. Once you arrive at Puerto Viejo, go through the town by staying on the main paved road and following the signs towards Manzanillo for 5km, we are located at Punta Uva, 100 mts after Selvin s Restaurant.

• The bus station is located in Terminal de San Carlos in Barrio Mexico, San Jose.
• Scheduled departures from San Jose: 6am, 10am, 12pm*, 2pm and 4pm, Prices are between $10 and $12 depending on the drop off
• *This bus is your best choice cause it leaves you just in front of Walaba, the other buses stop in Puerto Viejo so you'll need a cab for an extra 5000 colones or $10...
• We can also organize a shuttle to pick you up at the airport or in your hotel in San Jose. Shuttle cost $55. Please let us know by email if you are interested in shuttle option.
