A house of 3 floors in the historical part of Veliko Tarnovo
Unique LOCATION of a hostel ? in the very centre of the old town, a few minutes from all the stations and the new town, next to the river, frogs and birds songs all the time.
We are a young COUPLE ? Nedyalko and Stanislava who run the hostel, we pay rent and we live here as well.
So, we SHARE OUR LIFE with our guests. We like clear connection and keep our environment CLEAN and in order. We use natural cleaning products and even HOME-MADE SOAP. WATER we drink only from a natural spring.
Most of our FOOD is home-grown by our families or friends' families ?
flour, eggs, milk, cheese, honey, jams, fruits and vegetables, nuts, herbal teas ? all NATURAL
The BREAD we eat is from sour dough, prepared by the hands of Stanislava by the traditional way in a big WOODEN BOWL.
Breakfast is FREE, on request we can prepare for you a healthy LUNCH and/or DINNER
Our SOUVENIR desk offers you: natural rose water (produced by our friends from Alteya Organics) energetic hand made bracelets, healing ointments, meditation candles, healing stones, woolen soaks, rose jam ? all home made with love by us or our friends

• We offer a free pick-up service. Contact details will be in your confirmation email.
• This is the easiest hostel to find in town! We’re only 5-20 minutes’ walk from the bus and train stations.
• From Hotel Etara bus station:
• With the bus company office behind you, turn right and walk between the tables of a restaurant. Reaching the Hristo Botev Boulevard, take a right and walk uphill for another 50 meters until you reach the tourist information centre on your right. Facing the information centre, take the street on your left going downhill; this is Hadzhi Dimitar Str. In 150 meters this street ends up at the beginning of the beautiful Gurko Str. Go another 50 meters and you’re here at Nomads Hostel.
• From Youg Bus Station:
• With the bus station behind you take left and walk uphill for 5-10 minutes until you reach the tourist information centre. Facing the information centre, take the street on your left going downhill; this is Hadzhi Dimitar Str. In 150 meters this street ends up at the beginning of the beautiful Gurko Str. Go another 50 meters and you’re here at Nomads Hostel.
• From Veliko Tarnovo train station:
• On foot: With the train station behind you, take the road on your left. It’s only a 10-minute walk uphill to a small park surrounded by the river. Here is your first encounter with the atmosphere of Veliko Tarnovo. Take the walking bridge left and you will see the highest building in town - Hotel Etara. With the bus company office behind you, turn right and walk between the tables of a restaurant. Reaching the Hristo Botev Boulevard, take a right and walk uphill for another 50 meters until you reach the tourist information centre on your right. Facing the information centre, take the street on your left going downhill; this is Hadzhi Dimitar Str. In 150 meters this street ends up at the beginning of the beautiful Gurko Str. • By public transport: Take the following bus number n4, n5, n13 or n30 from the side of the train station. Ask someone in the bus for the stop at the post office - from here it is only 30 meters from the tourist information center. Facing the information centre, take the street on your left going downhill; this is Hadzhi Dimitar Str. In 150 meters this street ends up at the beginning of the beautiful Gurko Str. Go another 50 meters and you’re here at Nomads Hostel.
• Very important note: some people at the stations or in town will offer you accommodation. They will recommend unregistered housing for a very cheap price or will use the name of other hostels in town for their own lodging. Please, please don’t answer to their questions or give in to their offers!
