• Hveragerði is located 45 kilometers away from Reykjavík center in the south of Iceland. The road is one of the best in Iceland and even though it winds its way over Hellisheiði mountain you barely notice the difference in height. The tour in itself is well worth taking as you can experience Icelandic nature and its forces at its best. In wintertime it is though advisable to pay good notice to the weather forecast just in case.
• Buses leave from Mjodd bus station many times during the day and that is by far the best way to travel unless you have your own car. Tickets can be bought on the site. The number of the bus that goes to Hveragerði is 51.
• Once you arrive in to Hveragerði you keep on driving the main road until you see the Hot Springs Hostel on your right hand side.
