the lack of a better name and a listing requirement we were forced to belong to this group. Actually we are a group of friends who have always had the habit of traveling and sleeping in friends' houses and also to receive their friends at home. the idea of a tourism based on a type of accommodation where the family kind of comfort is the most important characteristic. a place where there are no employees, and are the owners themselves, who receive the guests, setting the rules of operation very similar to our own house, making the environment very much the reflection of our personality and genuine way of life in this city, where we are welcoming you.
hoping that each guest will identify a bit with us and the with the reason why we think it's a good idea to visit Porto and live a little of what we live here.
the so called civilized world is apparently doomed to survive counting on the success of the quality of its services. Globalization is the key to a future that by democratizing the access to the general right to tourism. This would be a very promising idea if all this globalization and tourism concepts were not the usual instruments of corporate control of what should be a healthy and productive cultures exchange.
so we watch the blooming of new packages, new names and types of tourism: low cost, the hostel,charm and design tourism, etc..
our idea is to achieve a good fusion between your rest / fun and get to know our local culture, and we wanted to do that within your area of interest or work so we could get a small taste of what your culture has to offer. thus making your visit to our city not only a tour but also a cultural interaction, deviation from the normal tour of one-way visits.

• Arriving by metro:
• Exit on the Bolhão stop. Turn to Rua Santa Catarina street (main shopping street), turn left, walk up and turn on the first to the right, Rua da Firmeza street, we are at the top left corner (brown/yellow door). 5 minutes walking.

• Arriving by train:
• 1- Exit on S.Bento station turn right to rua 31 de janeiro street, walk up and turn first left, Rua Santa Catarina street. Walk up and turn right on Rua da Firmeza street. 10 minutes walking.
• 2- Exit on S.Bento enter the metro outside the station, get on the direction Hospital de S.João, exit on Trindade (only 2 stops far from S.bento) and change to the direction Estádio do Dragão, exit on Bolhão station and follow the instructions of arriving by metro.

• By Bus:
• 1 - Coming from Spain, catch the bus number 78 next to the bus office, exit on Formosa stop, walk back a few meters until Rua Santa Catarina, turn right and walk up until Firmeza, right again and brown/yellow door. from 15 to 25 minutes.

• 2 - Rede Expressos station, when you get out the station turn right and cross all the Batalha square until Santa Catarina street, walk up, until the 4th street on the right, Firmeza street a few meters and thats it. 10 minutes walking.

• 3 - RENEX station, you can rather walk, 20 minutes walking (walking just ask for the direction Santa Catarina and follow any of the other instructions), or catch the same bus nr 78 of the coming from Spain instructions.
