• How to get to Macondo:
• • In Albrook bus station you can take the expresso to Colón. (the buses have a frequency of about 30 minutes). The cost of the ticket is $ 3,15.
• • Ask to stop in Sabanitas ( almost 30 minutes before Colón). The bus will leave you at “El Rey†supermarket and that’s where you have to wait for the next bus, the one that says “COSTA ARRIBA- LA GUAIRAâ€Â. Cost of the ticket $ 3.00.
• • BUS SCHEDULE ( from Sabanitas to LA GUAIRA):
• • First one 9:30am/ 11:30am/13:30pm/15:30pm and last one 17:30pm
• • Once in la guaira you can take a taxi boat to crossto the island.the Price of the the boat is $ 2.50 per person until 6 pm. After 6 pm the Price may be double.
• THERE’S NO ATM on the island. Last one is in Sabanitas in the General Bank (in front of El Rey supermarket). WE DON’T TAKE CREDIT CARDS, ONLY CASH.
• Como llegar a Macondo:
• • En la terminal de buses de Abrook , tomar el expresso a Colón (tienen una frecuencia de 30 minutos). El precio del pasaje es de $3.15.
• • Bajarse en Sabanitas (más o menos media hora antes de llegar a Colón). El bus los dejara en el supermercado “El Reyâ€Â. Allàmismo es donde está la parada del próximo bus que deberán tomar, el nombre del bus es “COSTA ARRIBA-LA GUAIRA†el precio del pasaje es de $3.00 y los horarios son:
• • Primer bus 9:30am/ 11:30am/13:30pm/15:30pm ultimo bus es a las 17:30pm.
• • Una vez en LA GUAIRA tomar la lancha para cruzar a la isla, el costo de la misma es de $ 2.50 por persona hasta las 6 de la tarde, después de las 6 de la tarde el precio puede ser el doble.
• En la isla NO hay cajero automático, el último que encontraras está en sabanitas en el Banco General (frente al supermercado El Rey). En el Hostel nos manejamos únicamente con efectivo. NO RECIBIMOS TARJETAS DE CREDITO.
