AirPorto Hostel is a simple, quiet hostel that is easy to get to from Porto Airport. The price is low, considering a free breakfast is included.
The Location
It's an ideal hostel for those that arrive at the airport at ungodly hours and need a place close by. It’s a twenty-minute walk from the airport and is easy to find if you can follow map apps. It has a tram stop within five minutes that can take you into central Porto in twenty minutes.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms are clean with bed linen already there -- there's no need to get this from the staff and make the bed yourself. They have power points close to the bed too, which is always a bonus. If you need a towel they charge a small rental fee, which is cheap in comparison with other hostels. The bathroom is basic but perfectly suitable -- it's clean, and has plenty of toilet roll and working showers.
Common Spaces
There is one large common space that combines the TV room with the kitchen and breakfast area. They have many options for breakfast (which is included in the bed fee), such as bread/toast, jam, cereals, yogurts, and coffee/tea. Our stay was only one night and we found it a quiet, comfortable hostel. We met other travelers and we got to know each other over breakfast. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Marco greeted us and showed us to our room immediately while he explained breakfast hours and checkout times. The following day, Susana was working at reception and was gentle, amicable, and showed us to the breakfast table and explained what was available.
Summary
We would highly recommend this site for a short stay, because if you are visiting Porto you want to stay closer to central Porto. One nice touch at this hostel is the bike basket full of sunscreen in the reception; these have been left behind by other guests and are there for current guests to use. As we had just landed we hadn’t had time to buy any sunscreen yet, and were chuffed we could protect ourselves for free.

• Located just by the Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro (walking distance)
• 2 minutes walk from the tube station: Crestins (line B) and Botica (line E).
• We are on The Camino Portugés de Santiago de Compostela
• On EN107 after passing the tube station Botica turn to Rua da Estrada
• Seved by the A41 highway and IC24.
