Zostel Bangalore is located in the most happening place in Bangalore -- Indiranagar. It offers a great atmosphere for youngsters, be they travelers or interns in the city, but whatever be the purpose, given it does not only offer accommodation, but also offers a space that has a number of events to keep people engaged.
The Location
Indiranagar is known for its pubs and restaurants. There's Doopanahalli bus stop within five minutes' walking distance and the retail high street hub of Bangalore (100 Foot Road), is just a few minutes' walk away from this property. Street parking is available, although during our stay the street was super dusty due to road repair.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms aren't as spacious as normal Zostel standards, but are adequate enough to serve the purpose. Natural light is a bit of a challenge here, as the rooms are pitch dark even during the daytime, unless lights are switched on. Even natural ventilation isn't that good, given there is not much space between Zostel and its adjacent buildings.
The rooms and bathrooms are clean and very well maintained (although if someone throws up in the middle of the dorm, there is little that Zostel can do about it). Dorms have lockers and bathrooms have soap dispensers; however you will have to rent towel/lock should you need one.
Common Spaces
There are multiple common areas to chill out and some of these areas also have events on weekends -- across a wide range of interests ranging from travel meet-ups to a Mandala art workshop.
Summary
Zostel is not just yet another hostel you would find in a city -- it is a cut above the rest. This is a space that makes it a point to get people to interact and get to know each other in the most natural fashion. The Zostel culture is consistent across all properties and this property is no exception. Zostel events connect you with both fellow hostelers as well as people from the city who come down to Zostel to attend the event -- and this makes it unique. Please do note that consumption of alcohol/drugs is strictly prohibited here and is a punishable offense.

Nearest Metro Station is Indiranagar, from there take a cab (or cheapest way to commute is an auto-rickshaw). If you coming from the Airport, nearby bus stand is Indiranagar Bus Stand (bus service name is Vayu Vajra, approximate fare INR 200).
