The Location
Bona Vida La Quinta is located on Calle Five, which is approximately a three-minute walk straight down to the beach. You will find a small supermarket with basics along the way and a load of fast food and restaurants down by the water. The main bus terminal is about a twenty-minute walk in the other direction, but it is also fairly cheap to take a cab.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms here are quite comfortable. The mattresses and pillows are great and super cozy and each bed has a yellow curtain that you can pull around it for some privacy. Each bed also has a lamp, a fan, and a power outlet to charge your electronics. Some of the rooms also have an air conditioner for added comfort in the heat. There are large lockers underneath the beds in which you can store your backpacks, and they have a locking mechanism if you have your own lock.
There are only two bathrooms, and sometimes it can be a bit of a waiting game. One bathroom is off the main common area and the other is in the front dorm room. During the day it isn't so bad, but in the evenings and early in the mornings you may find yourself waiting for quite a while, as the toilets and showers are one. On the upside, there are sinks outside so you can brush your teeth and wash your face without having to wait. Both bathrooms are generally quite clean.
Common Spaces
The hostel has a large lounge room in the reception with couches and information booklets on things you can do in the area during your stay. They have a space behind that with computers for everyone to use to access internet and a dining table where people sit in the morning to enjoy the free breakfast of pancakes or eggs. The kitchen is fully equipped, nice to cook in, and also comes with free water from the dispenser as the tap water in Riohacha isn't potable.
The hostel is also equipped with a large outdoor patio area with hammocks, tables and chairs, beanbags, and a television for lounging and relaxing.

Location
• From Bus Terminal Station:
• When you get out of the bus terminal turn to the right and walk three blocks until you arrive at Carrera 8, from there turn to the left and walk 10 blocks, until you arrive in Calle 5 with Carrera 8, turn to the left and you will see the hostel right in front of you.
• From Airport:
• You can either take a taxi for 10,000 or you can leave the airport area and take a colectivo for 1,500 COP to Callejon de las Brisas in Calle 1, from there you walk away from the beach until Calle 5, turn right and you will stand in front of the hostel.
