La Casa Aída is located just 7 kilometers outside of the small but lively town of Ibarra. There are inexpensive and frequent buses to Ibarra from Quito (2.5 hours away), Otavalo (45 min away) and Tulcán. You can walk here from Ibarra by walking up Av. El Camino el Retorno, take one of the frequent buses ($0.30, 20 minutes) or get a taxi for about $5. It can also be reached from the town of Cayambe by way of the town of Olemedo.
