Eco Hostel Republik is located in downtown of Užice in part of the town called Rakijska pijaca, 10 minutes walking distance from main street. 5 minutes walking distance from National Museum. 10min. walking distance from Hydroelectric power plant- Known as "Power plant under the fortress", 20 minutes distance walking from Old City fortress witch dates from the Middle Ages. Užice is located in the central part of Western Serbia and have the best location to explore the beauty of this area.
By bus. After you come out of the bus station, you ’ll see bridge in front of you, cross over the bridge and, continue straight until you see drinking fountain and the small park behind it. Cross through the park and on your right you will see the yellow church, pass next to the church on your right, after 30 meters the road will go slightly to the left, just continue to follow the road until you reach the crossroad. Step across the street and pass next to the drinking fountain, and go onto your right, ten meters and then turn left. From your left side you will have yellow buildings and after a minute of walking ,you will see a wooden church. Continue to go straight until you pass next to the church on your left side. Go straight few meters, and then turn right through the narrow passage where the metal bridge crossing over. When you enter into the street look on your left and you will see Eco Hostel Republik.
By train. After you come out of the train station, you ’ll see bridge on your right, cross over the bridge and, continue straight until you see drinking fountain and the small park behind it. After you get in the city Uzice on the first traffic light (you’ll see pump, from your right side), go right until you come on the second traffic light, in front of you, there is museum and tank in front of it and you go straight on the crossroad and tank will be on your right. Continue straight ,until you get on crossroad. Do not make any turns just continue to drive straight and you’ll see wooden church on your left side. By car, from Zlatibor. Entering the city,you will pass train station on your left and on the first crossroad, turn right, into the center of the city. By taxi. If you are taking taxi from the bus station or city centre, give the driver following instructions: Rakijska Pijaca , Želje Djurića 34, distance 1km . Taxi in Užice runs on meters, it will cost between 80-100 dinars.
Check-in begins at 12pm. Check-out is until 12pm. Late Check-outs are granted upon availability and subject to an additional charge.
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a penalty of a one-night hotel stay.

There are numerous places of interest in the immediate vicinity of Užice, such as: Mokra Gora, Mećavnik, Zlatibor, Tara National Park, Guča, Kadinjača monument, Potpeć cave, Šargan 8 (a narrow-gauge heritage railway), Terzića Avlija (an open-air folklore museum) and many others. The town itself offers a best variety of sights: The Hydroelectric Power Plant (the first hydroelectric power plant built in Europe), the Old Railway Bridge, Stari Grad (a medieval fortress), the National Museum, the National Theatre, Jokanovića Kuća (one of the oldest houses in Užice), St Marko's Church, etc. Some of the most popular world festivals and other cultural events held in this region include: Kϋstendorf Film Festival, the Trumpet Festival in Guča, rafting on the Drina, the traditional diving off the Old Railway Bridge contest etc.
