• We're located at the left end of Pula's waterfront/harbor, street name is Riva and our house number is #2.
• The hostel is across the street from the main Uljanik shipyard entrance.
• NO free parking around the property (or anywhere in the Old Town -- even residents cannot park here) -- only paid parking. Free parking is available 15 mins away (approx) by foot.
• From the airport:
• Airport shuttles are available several times per day. We recommend first inquiring about a shuttle at the airport, after getting some local currency (Croatian Kuna) from the airport ATM (Euros are not accepted in Croatia, and card payments are not available on the shuttle or in taxis). If a shuttle is not available at your time of arrival, the second option is to take a taxi. There are usually taxis parked outside of the airport building, near the main entrance. Prices range between 150-170 Kuna, in the high season (June - Sept). Be sure to agree on a price prior to accepting a ride, if there is no meter in the car. Our address is RIVA 2A.
• From the bus station:
• You may walk, it is very simple and not far at all. Exit the bus station on the left. Follow the road to the left, around the roundabout towards the waterfront. Stay on Riva st., pass the park and palm trees on your right, keep walking towards cranes/shipyard in the background. We're on the left side of the street another 100m, address Riva 2, right next to Dolce Vita Restaurant.
• From the ferry terminal:
• We're located at the opposite side of the harbor and from where the ferry drops you off. You need to get out of the ferry terminal; walk right all the way along the waterfront. Keep walking along the harbor another 300m, then cross the street so that you're walking on the left. We're on the left side of the street another, address Riva 2, right next to Dolce Vita Restaurant.
• From the train station:
• You may also walk, it is very simple and not far. Walk out of the station and take a right down the street about 300m. You'll come to a major intersection where Pula Amphitheatre will be visible straight ahead. Make a right; after 50m you'll arrive at the waterfront harbour. Keep walking along the harbor another 300m, then cross the street so that you are walking on the left. We are on the left side of the street, address Riva 2, right next to Dolce Vita Restaurant.
• By car:
• It is not allowed to park outside of the hostel, but you can easily pull up, unload your bags, then park at the designated parking down the street. You can also park at the parking lot below Arena Amphitheater then walk along the Riva (waterfront) to our address at Riva 2, right next to Dolce Vita Restaurant.
• During check in, we can show you some of the FREE parking places, please park and pay for short term parking first, then ask to be shown the free parking options (15-20 mins walk) on the map, by our staff member!
• There is a buzzer at the door with Hostel Riva displayed; please ring the buzzer and walk straight through the hallway and another set of doors into our backyard - entrance is on the left.
