The Foresteria is the guest lodgings of the Waldensian and Methodist Church in Venice. A few minutes walk from Saint Mark's Square, it offers to its guests comfortable surroundings and a possibility to visit this magic city. The reception is open every day from 9am to 1pm and from 6pm to 8pm. In the Foresteria you find sheets, pillow cases and blankets but, guests are required to make their own beds.
The public areas of the palace can be visited during the hours the reception is open and it is possible to see the typical structure of a 1700's Venetian Palace and the beautiful "frescos" by Bevilacqua (1820 ca.). The guest house began its activity in 1969 in Palazzo Cavagnis.
Restoration began in 1994 and it is expected to increase the capacity of accommodation to 75 beds. During the restoration of the palace the Foresteria works regularly.
