When in 1985 we opened our guesthouse in a 400 years old stone house, we just wanted to have a place where all of our guests would have what we think is most important in traveling: security, cleanliness, a warm welcome and helpful staff.

Our first two minutes: We walked in through a beautiful green garden, were offered juice, sat and smiled at the grandmother and father finishing their Sunday meal, and met a dog named Bazra, who was probably the sweetest dog in the world. The room was really nice, private, and quiet. This location is unbeatable, and here's why: if you stay in Lopud, you're way too far from the Old Town. If you stay in the Old Town, you're being swallowed by tourism, and you're way too far from Lopud. This city is "L" shaped, this guesthouse is at the crux. Absolutely wonderful; it was like staying in a home.
