Ibrahim was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. He arranged a rose picking experience for us and drove us to a nearby hike. He took us to Sagalassos and we enjoyed having vegan gozleme nearby with him for lunch. Our room had a beautiful view and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast with plenty of vegan options.

Reserved a private double with ensuite for nostalgia and because nothing else in the area rated well. The lake-view common area is pleasant We missed not having a hot water kettle in our tiny room. Our room's heater had a worn-out fan bearing and made quite a racket.. Linens smelled and I suggested to the manager that they use a professional service. He said the rain had caused them to hang inside but they were 'clean.' A good breakfast was at a sister property. We were not charged for our stay

Amazing! Ibrahim who runs the place is full of knowledge and always happy to go beyond what's needed! The pension is in an old building and they have given it a great homey atmosphere. The free breakfast is perfect with an amazing balcony view, and they also sell dinner which varies each night and you can smell them cooking during the day. Overall a great experience, I would happily come back for a week or more!

Great place to stay. We were in the separate hostel which was great for us - we wanted to relax in a quiet private spot. Great to have a lake to swim in when it got hot, which it did frequently! Hire bikes, hike or relax - it's up to you.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. And HONEST! I left my passport there but they sent it on immediately, and I got my waist belt back with EVERYTHING in still in it.

Thanks HEAPS - I would recommend this place anyway - but wouldn't go anywhere else now!

- owner not very helpfull with information/ he is not 'up to date' (better information from other hostels, for example about transport to Sagalassos)

Liked: Great location right by the lake. Dinner is served on the terrace and there's room for sitting and relaxing as well. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good place to meet and chat to other travellers. Disliked: The choice of evening meals never changed. They could be a little more imaginative with their cooking and it would be better to grill the food rather than fry it.

Liked: Best, most plentiful breakfast we had anywhere in Turkey. View is phenomenal. Host speaks very hood English and makes every effort to please. We were escorted from bus station without having asked for it. Disliked: Watch the step up to the bathroom

Liked: Location could't be better: a balcony on the mountains' surrounded lake.Helpful , friendly staff and family atmosphere. Egirdir is a good place to discover the Saint Paul's Trail ( guide and map available there, Ibrahim and Mslm can give you all the info about it).A single black point : the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bedding and bath-rooms ( Yet the most importants ). Disliked: Rui left no negative feedback.

This place is very close to the lake, main attraction, has many food chooses for breakfast, usually some kind of egg dish. Can organise day trips and/or equipment for cmaping and hiking. Near famus hiking trails. Has washing machine, free luggige storage. Surves meals and drinks

• Buses depart for Egirdir every 30 minutes from Isparta between 07.00-19.00
• Transport is provided by the Municipality of Egirdir Buses. If you phone ahead with your bus companies details we can pick you up at time from Egirdir bus-station
• Arriving by Air: (Antalya Airport):
• BUS: From Antalya Airport Terminal to Antalya bus-station we recommend taking a taxi as it�s about 25km. You can catch a bus to Egirdir from 08.00-23.30.
• TAXI: It is 160km from Antalya Airport to Egirdir so it may be better to hire a car: There are several car hire companies at the airport.
• ARRIVING BY TRAIN
• It is a nice way to discover the countryside of Turkey.
• From Istanbul to Isparta
• There is a direct train from Istanbul (on the Asian side of the Bosphorus) to Isparta every day .It starts at 17:35 and arrives in Isparta at 07.30 the next day.
• From Izmir to Isparta
• It starts at 21:30 every day and arrives in Isparta at 07.30 the next day
