Globtroter Reviews

I stayed at Globtroter last spring when I visited Krakow for three nights and I must say this is a hidden gem! It's one block from Rynek Glowny (Main Market Square), so it's close to all the sights, and has the friendliest and nicest owner. The room I had was a single with en suite, and it was clean and comfy. The room never felt cold at all from the spring chill. While it doesn't have breakfast, the prices are very reasonable for a place as central and as cool as this. My single cost 25 euros then. Highly recommend this place!

Globtroter Reviews from the Web

No Wi-Fi in the bedroom but amazing location

Liked: The location is perfect. Just 3 minutes walk away from the main square. Honest presentation, you get what you pay for. No luxury, but a straight offer for a good price. Helpfull staff. Didn't like: Nothing really. Except perhaps the bundle of keys you have to jingle before you can enter your room. No big deal.

Liked: The rooms are well-equipped own apartments with a nice flair inside. The rooms have been very clean and it has been quite comfortable as towels and other things were offered for free. Didn't like: /

Right in the centre of Krakow and surrounded by places to eat.

Liked: Excellent location on main square with loads of bars & restaurants all around. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, always ready to help. Lovely large room looking out onto garden & courtyard, so always quiet at night. Didn't like: Nothing

Liked: The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help with anything I asked. It was really clean and the showers were always hot. Really good prices for what you get. Really good :) Didn't like: Everything was really good, there's not much to complain about at all. You have to go though a hall where a nightclub is, but don't be put off, once you get into the courtyard garden it's really cute and home-y!

Liked: Main positives were the location and the price. Great value considering how central the location was. Based on a square with good cafes and restaurants and slightly off the main tourist track. Literally 2 mins walk from the Main Square. Room was perfect for the 3 of us - very well kept and even a bit of character which is usually unheard of for the extremely low price. Didn't like: The only thing was that there was no safe in our room, although I think these were available on request. Our room was based by the main entrance and could get a little noisy at times. However, never a problem and was expected to some extent.

Liked: The hostel is very close to the train station - maybe 8 minute walk - and is well located in the heart of the Old City centre. It is well kept, clean, and secure with locks to several entrances and a staff person on duty all the time. They also speak English fluently. The rooms are large and pleasant. Didn't like: Although they have a computer with internet for use, it does not easily allow me to use Microsoft office etc

Liked: Everything Didn't like: Nothing

Liked: Good value for money. Didn't like: More of a hotel than a hostel.

Liked: The team had very useful tips for food and location. There was a water boiler on the room, very practical. Didn't like: The walls are a bit thin in the house. From our room, the shower of the other rooms was a bit loud.
