La Casona De Los Vegas is a Historic Hostel located at the heart of Izalco. With Views to the Izalco Volcano that can be seen right through the balcony. This Historic house has more than 150 years of history and has been passed down the Vega Family. La Casona De Los Vega in the past was a center for police, a church, a school and now a hostel. Within the hostel near the garden is the Cabeza de Jaguar an archeological piece number 4 a must see for any archeologists interested in seeing a rock that is 2,300 years old originally from an indigenous region made out of basalt. Enjoy Free Wifi and have a delicious coffee or Pure Hot Chocolate under a Mango Tree that is located at the center of the Garden. We also have a wide range of options in our menu including Plant Based meals for Vegans.
