The houseboat is located in the 'Westerdok 11', at the head of the Prinsengracht, and on the northern side o the railroad track, opposite Squash City(squash, sauna, acrobatics). Near the'Jordaan' district, where the Saturday and Monday street-markets are held from 8:oo to 15:oo.
Arknoa is also close to the Haarlemmerstraat/dijk, where you find the supermarket
(open from 8am to 22:oo daily) and plenty of breakfast shops. Arknoa is smoker friendly.
Towels and linen are provided and the beds are made for a good nights sleep on the
waters! Also you can use your labtops in both rooms!
ARKNOA OFFERS 2 ACJACENT ROOMS WITH ONE SHARED BATHROOM/SHOWER. C.H. & plenty of hot
water and a hair dryer available!
- The larger 3-bed-private, the Elephant room, with private entrance, waterfront view,
3 large windows, a terrasse on the canal side with moored rowing-boat for you to enjoy
safely the feel of the water!
The room is comfortable, attractive, spacey, with T and coffee-making possibilities,
a radio, a fridge, books and peace...One XLbed for 2 persons & a couch-bed (2mL).
Price: e135.- per night for 2/3 guests, exclu 5,5% Tourist tax.
When 2 guests book this room, the houseboat will refund on arrival, 1/6th of the bill
incl. tourist tax. (Min. 3 nights.)
- a 2-bed-private, the Nest room, a second very small private room with waterfront
view and access to terrasse on the canal with a moored rowing-boat as extra terrasse
for you to enjoy the feel of the water, safely!. This room is adjacent the Elephant
room & the bathroom. There is a large 2-person mezzanine bed. The room can be locked
and you can come and go as you please.
Price: e90.- per night for 2 persons, exclu 5,5 Tourist tax. (Min. 2 or 3 nights).
Please have the right amount for settling bill on arrival at the houseboat!
Please phone-in for last minute bookings or for late arrivals, as pc will be then
closed and as this is not a grand hotel with loads of staff!

• Houseboat Arknoa is a 9 minute walk West from Central Station Amsterdam, exiting the station on the Northern side and not the town side! Exit the station and turn left...
• Follow the road past the first 2 bridges. There you can see SQUASH written on the top of a building in the West, where the sun sets. Then you are very close. From there follow on your left, somewhat downhill, to this next modern, half moon-bridge! On top of that bridge, see houseboat Arknoa which is the second one to your left on the same side as the bridge. Often, there will be a blue light on in the window at the houseboat, opposite the railroad track to give you a clue! From this Moonbridge, the 'Han Lammers' bridge, count 4 street lamps and then go down the steps to the jetty. Walk to the far end of the jetty, where you can ring on the doorbell at ARKNOA!
