365 Inn is a friendly and welcoming hostel/hotel. There are a lot of rooms available, spread throughout four floors of the building. They're a combination of dormitories, as well as private rooms, creating a great mix of guests. The staff are friendly and helpful, with most having a great understanding of English as well.
The hostel also provides an array of tours and packages, including visits to the Great Wall of China. It's a plus that the hostel offers several tours to the Great Wall, so you can pick which one is the most appropriate in terms of physical requirements and time needed.
The Location
Located right beside a popular shopping area, this hostel is situated closely to lots of shops, restaurants, and other hostels. There's so much to see and do just steps away from the hostel. The neighbourhood is also very interesting, as right off the main streets, visitors can find traditional hutong residential living. It's a great blend of tourist and local sights.
Qianmen metro station is the closest to the hostel and it's only about seven minutes' walk away. It's a very popular metro line, and once on the metro, visitors can travel to many attractions easily.
Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City are both short walks from the hostel (about one-and-a-half kilometers away). The Temple of Heaven is a bit further away, at more than three kilometers, but it's easily walkable or accessible by metro.
Rooms and Bathrooms
This hostel offers a combination of private and dormitory rooms. Dorm rooms range from three, four, six, and ten beds and are either coed or women only. The rooms are clean and roomy, with large lockers available to store an entire large backpack. Each bunk comes with a personal light and a small storage shelf. The only thing is that in some rooms electric plugs are limited. Some dorm rooms only have two electric sockets available to share among four guests.
There are two sets of bathrooms available. On the first floor, there is a women's and men's bathroom, with individual toilet stalls and shower stalls. It's definitely tight here and can get dirty really quickly.
On the second floor is a coed bathroom -- there are two shower stalls and two toilet stalls available for use. This bathroom is a lot cleaner than the ones on the first floor. An attendant can often been seen cleaning this bathroom throughout the day.
Common Spaces
The hostel has a lovely bar/restaurant on the main floor, as well as a small front porch. There's often a lot of people here in the evening enjoying a beer, working or socializing. However, the restaurant doesn't stay open late -- it's usually cleared out and closed by midnight. There is also a large locker room to store your luggage, as well as smaller lockers to rent out for the day.

365 Inn is a great hostel in which to stay when visiting Beijing. It's close to lots of attractions, restaurants, shops, and the metro. The staff are really friendly and helpful and can converse eloquently in English.

• From the airport:
• Take the subway at the airport. Get off at DongZhiMen (transfer station), then transfer to subway line 2 and get off at QianMen station. Go through exit 'C', then through the underground pass and go down along the 'MeiShiJie' street, 'til the second traffic light. Turn right into 'DA ZHA LAN XIJIE' and after 200 meters, the 365 inn is in your right side.
• Alternately, a taxi costs approximately 120.00 CNY and will take you 40 minutes to 1 hour from the airport, but the taxi is recommended only after midnight.
• We can also arrange the airport pickup for you; just contact us by email and tell us your flight number. Our contact information will be in your booking confirmation email.
• From Beijing West Railway Station:
• A taxi will cost around 30.00 CNY.
• From Beijing Railway Station:
• A taxi will cost about 20.00 CNY, but the subway is the best choice if you're arriving before 10pm, as it costs only 2CNY per person. Take line 2 from the railway station and then get off at Qianmen station and go out through exit 'C'. Go through the underpass and go down along the 'MeiShiJie' street, 'til the second traffic light. Turn right into 'DA ZHA LAN XIJIE' and after 200 meters, the 365 inn is in your right side.
• From the South Railway Station:
• A taxi will cost around 20-25 CNY, but the subway is highly recommended if you arrive before 9.30pm. Take the subway line 4, transfer to line 2 at XuanWuMen, and then get off at Qianmen Station. Go through exit 'C', then go through the underpass and go down along the 'MeiShiJie' street, 'til the second traffic light. Turn right into 'DA ZHA LAN XIJIE' and after 200 meters, the 365 inn is in your right side.
• After you booked the rooms or beds here, you will receive a confirmation letter from the 365 inn. Just tell us where you will arrive in Beijing and we will send you the direction details (both in English and Chinese) to help you on each step to find the 365 inn with no difficulties.
