Hello budget traveler, I have traveled across many cities and stayed at many hostels, one of them being Mad Monkey Hostel located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. I would like to share my experience so that fellow travelers like me can take some precautions and enjoy their stay.
Location (Easy to find)
A friend and I traveled Asia and this hostel was by far the best! The members of staff who work here are all super friendly and talkative. They give great information and really get to know you. The main rep made sure all guests were catered for, and she created an inclusive, friendly environment and opportunities to meet other guests. It was super fun! You could relax in this hostel by the pool or at the bar/restaurant or party hard... it’s really up to you. They provide an amazing food menu and the food is outstanding! Also, the drinks are cheap! It is very clean and there are many services at the hostel such as laundry service. Furthermore, you can book excursions at the hostel for cheap, and they are fantastic! We highly recommend this hostel and if we ever travel again we will be looking out for a Mad Monkey Hostel to stay in! Such a memorable experience...

3. Receptionist very nice, English well-spoken
4. Swimming pool at back side
It is a very nice environment where people of different countries mingle together.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Rooms and bathrooms are so spotless that you could literally eat food in the bathroom, but not when you are in your senses, just when you are drunk... You get a locker per bed (you have to carry your own lock and keys, but sometimes you are provided them), so remember to keep the keys safe : ) Also the air cons work super well.
Common Spaces
They have beanbags and a table to hang out at or make new friends (this part depends on you). It also offers a place to show some of your skills like playing guitar or other instruments. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and all the fellow travelers come by to relax and make new friends.
Summary
Very clean and pleasant new hostel. Beds were big and lockers were too. The bar downstairs is a great place to hang out. Pool is good for after a hot day in Bangkok. The huge downside was that the Wi-Fi is terrible. Fix that, and you've got a solid place on your hands.
