• How to get to Barrio Vivo Hostel
• Our address is: Calle 77 por 66 y 64a n° 521B, Centro, 97000, Mérida.
• Barrio Vivo is located in the southern part of the center of Merida, in front of the beautiful park of La Ermita. We are only 4 blocks away (800 meters) from the ADO CAME bus terminal.
• From the ADO CAME bus terminal
• Walking: If you decide to walk from the CAME bus terminal, you’ll arrive at the hostel in 10 minutes. Coming out from the terminal, turn right, and walk 3 blocks on Calle 70 until you get to Calle 77. Turn left and in 200 meters you will get to the park of La Ermita. The hostel will be on your left.
• Taxi/Uber: if your luggage is too heavy or if it’s too hot to walk, we recommend you get a taxi or call an Uber (the terminal offers free Wi-Fi). You will get to the hostel in 5 minutes. The cost is approximately $30 MXN (1.20 USD).
• From Merida Airport
• We are located 5 kilometers from the airport (10 minutes). There are different options to get to the city.
• Taxi: $150/200 MXN approx. You can also walk 1 km and grab a taxi on the Avenida Itzaes for less than $100 MXN approx.
• Uber: $100 MXN approx. Uber is not allowed to enter the airport area. You have to cross over the parking in front of the airport and call your Uber there. A lot of Uber drivers are picking up people in front of the Avis and Hertz car rentals.
• Bus: This is the cheapest option. You have to walk 1 km toward the Avenida Itzaes and with $8MXN it will take you to the center of Merida.
