• By Car;
• From Montrose;
• If you are arriving at the Montrose Regional Airport and picking up a rental car, head south on Hwy 550 from the airport until you arrive at Ridgway. Take a right onto Hwy 62 towards Telluride. Take a left onto Hwy 145. You will pass the Placerville/Down Valley Park on your right, which has a large pond and sports fields. The Bivvi is 0.3 miles past the park on your left hand side.
• From the West/Moab/Naturita;
• From Hwy 145 take a right to stay on 145 at the junction in Placerville, following signs towards Telluride. We are located 0.3 miles past the Placerville/Down Valley Park on the left hand side.
• From the South or Town of Telluride;
• From the town, head west of town until you meet up with Hwy 145 at the roundabout. From the Dolores/Rico direction stay on 145. You will pass through the small town of Sawpit, where there is a mercantile and gas station. From there, the Bivvi is 1.7 miles down the highway on your right hand side.
• By Door-to-door Shuttle service;
• Various shuttle companies offer a door-to-door shuttle service if you are arriving by plane, this is one of the most convenient ways to get to the Hostel after landing in one of the surrounding airports. Shuttles run from Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), Cortez Airport (CEZ), Durango Airport (DRO), Gunnison Airport (GUC), Grand Junction Airport (GJT), Crested Butte (GUC).

• By Bus;
• The regional bus system, SMART provides regional commuter services between Norwood, Telluride, Rico, and all points in between. You can catch the bus from downtown Telluride, as well as other nearby towns to a stop right out front of the Bivvi for just $1 per a trip. You can use this same service to travel from The Bivvi into downtown Telluride for the same fee!
• The SMART website has the full schedule. The Bivvi was formerly called the Angler, so you can use this as your reference when requesting a stop and referring to the schedule.

• If you are looking for a bus to bring you here from somewhere outside the local region, consider the Bustang. Bustang Outrider is a round-trip bus service that departs daily from Durango to Grand Junction. The bus departs Durango at 6:40 a.m. and services Mancos, Cortez, Dolores, Rico, Telluride, Placerville, Ridgway, Montrose, Delta and Grand Junction. Bus transfers for travel across Colorado and the United States are available in Grand Junction.
