A really great hostel, with everything you'd hope for -- friendly, welcoming staff who advise on activities and logistics and take you out on the town; not too big (twenty-six beds I think) so it keeps a family feel; great social space for hanging out and making friends; chilled music; clean bathrooms; comfortable beds; and slap bang in the centre of town. Book in advance as they're nearly always full, and its no surprise why. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Bariloche.
This place was fantastic. Laid back with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The owner Paul has clearly got it right in the design and feel of the place. You can kick back and watch a DVD if you want a quiet night, and the place is very well positioned for going out of an evening (minimal uphill involved!). The staff will give you great advice on mountain walks and bike rides and they organize rafting and kayaking trips, too. Finally, music that is not from the 80's is a very welcome change! Beds and showers are brilliant, and it has big lockers to store your mess away and great views over the lake for those with rooms at the front. Good kitchen, too. I have recommended it to so many people already and it was only a few weeks ago!
This hostel is perfect, Just what you need for a trip to Bariloche. Friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen and lounge area. Bedrooms are clean and cozy. The hostel is positioned one block back from the main areas, and close to a supermarket, laundry and a small bar. Also close by are the buses to the mountain (ideal if that is what you are going for.) I'd recommend it to anyone going to Bariloche.
The staff was real friendly and helpfull, dorms were good with your own locker. Bathrooms were clean. Good breakfast and good vibe!
A place that really feels like home! The staff was extremely helpful and really flexible (we booked three nights and wanted to move the last night to one night later, so we could do a two days hike in the mountains). The breakfast is great too: fresh baked bread every morning and non-sweet cornflakes and yoghurt.
Very cosy and friendly atmosphere, feels like home! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, I enjoyed my stay very much.
Overall I would rate this place. I also found that for a tourist city the choice of hostels wasnt great, again a general point nothing to do with the hostel.
