I love this place -- i feel just like at home
first impression was, i dont know what to expect. then once i enter the door, what came out from my mouth was, wow, awesome! I was with my two friends and her father so we took the family room. even though the room is quite small but would be enough for people to get back and sleep. reception area is fantastic. walking to our room was the most unforgettable moment. just feel like home -- cozy place. bar was nice but need to upgrade breakfast and during night time. i think this place need to have some food served -- just simple menu would be fine, maybe fries, wedges, sandwich, chicken wings. Whatever it is, my trip to Kuching was fantastic! Hope to be there again.
Amazing, perfect, what every traveler wants!
I had a vision of a perfect guesthouse -- Clean, friendly, tasty free breakfast, free/cheap internet, charming rooms, fun hosts, book exchange, easy travel help, and a rooftop bar with free movies and hammocks. No joke, this hostel is everything. I can't rave enough. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and this by far was the most welcoming.

Brilliant room design, very kind people, and excellent service. You won't miss any traveler's service; it's easy and correct. There is no better place to stay. Good breakfast, clean. Thanks for making our stay so convenient.
This brand new and fabulously presented guesthouse has everything that you could wish for. It's situated in the heart of Kuching, seconds away from the river. The owners are well travelled, and having stayed in all kinds of accommodation, they aim to bring their vision of home to you.
To get from the airport take a taxi which costs 17 RM. The hostel, although priced higher than other places in Kuching, is worth the extra money. It is ordained with great decorations from the local tribal people and this welcomes you into Borneo and the culture.
There is a friendly and warm welcome from the owners who allow you time to relax after your travels before checking you in. You enter into the spacious common room which has an inviting feel to it as other travellers and staff happily mingle with each other. In the common area there are also games and a host of books to browse through.
The rooms are spotless and spacious with great en suite or shared facilities. Bedding and towels are provided. The dorms all contain 10 beds but with airconditioning in every room.
The hostel provides internet at the standard rate of 4RM an hour and there is also free breakfast. The refreshments and beers they provide are approximately half the price of the local shop as is the laundry charge.
In the centre of Kuching it is a great base to use to visit all the local national parks as well as the orangutan rehabilitation centre.
