• Sintra lies 25km to the west of Lisbon airport and it is relatively easy to travel by public transport from the airport to Sintra. The journey requires two stages; the first section is from the airport to central Lisbon (Oriente train station). You can do this stage by taxi (more or less 6 euros) or by metro to Oriente station and the second stage is from Lisbon Oriente station to Sintra by train. Sintra its the last stop.
• The Five house from Sintra train station in just 5 minutes away.
• By car: When you arrive in Sintra through IC19, you have to follow the direction as if you go to the beaches (Praias). Then be aware to your left side, when you see the Hockey Club de Sintra Pavilion, then you have to turn left and follow and go up the 'Rua Monte Santos'. Finally, turn right when you spot the signs saying 'Segurança Social'. We cannot guarantee you a parking place since we just have public free parking in front of the house. Since is public is always dependent on availability.
