Unbeatable price
Nice small and cozy hostel, we got the 3 bedroom and it was a good value of money. The guy working there is extremely nice, always available to help us. Also the hostel is just a couple of minutes of Puerta del Sol, which is a big big plus.

Worst Hostel experience ever ...
Apart from the difficulty of finding the place in lack of signs, our stay was a disaster from the very moment we entered the hostel. The guy at the desk, was everything but welcoming is his approach. Easily irritated, when we didn't totally understood his english/spanish. Dropping our papers on the floor, made him wait for us to pick them up. He didn't tell us anything about the city (up until then, the staff had showed us places to go on a city map. When asking about the numbers go room sharing one toilet, he replied: "It's a hostel, not a hotel!". There is a smell of thick smoke in the entire hostel, and as we entered the room, I found the bed too short for my 179 cm body length ... The bed were curved like a banana. After returning to the hostel in the late evening, we were kept awake because the staff-man, had to talk in his cell phone right outside our room and shortly after having a loud argument with two other girls. Yelling and crying ... We got up in the early morning and fled.

This place was awful. It was very difficult to find as you have to go through an iron gate to get to it and then figure out which buitton to buzz. Good luck finding it at night. When we arrived there it tuns out that the "hostel" is more like somebody's apartment. The reception is practically the hall closet. There is a door on one room that doesn't lock and the other room only has beads hanging on it. There is nowhere to lock your luggage, only a small box, smaller than a shoe box is given to you to lock up your valuables at a charge of €1 each time you lock it. IThe place did not feel safe at all. It is very dark and dirty. We left immediately and found much better accommodation.
I've stayed in quite a few hostels in Spain, and Bull's is by far the best! They make you feel like part of the family. Everyone is so friendly, happy and approachable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and happy. There's no curfew, which is great. There's a really clean kitchen you can use, and they have a store cupboard full of oils and herbs and stuff you might need. Every traveler staying at the hostel whilst we were there said it was the best hostel they had stayed in! We were lucky to get in because we didn't book, we just turned up!

The location, in the center of the city, is good. But there are no signs indicating that you are at the right place. Additionally, there is a "for rent" sign hanging next to the door and the inside looks dark. You have to get past an iron get to get to the building door. But the opening to the gate is difficult to distinguish — there are two and the farthest one is locked. It's a really poor welcome to the hostel and to the city. I left and found another hostel, which was perfect.
