Eviction Policy:
We are fair, please respect our property and our guests so we can all enjoy a great time. we want you to have fun, but we will evict you without notice or refund if you misbehave or if you are loud and behave in an inappropriate manner.
#Pickup policy:
Free pickup from airport is subject to seat availability and confirmed reservation. Min stay requirements apply (5 nights must be booked directly with hostel). please contact us to arrange pickup. (pickup is not available after 7pm or before 7am - please use the train cost is about $16 each way)
NB: We Do not pay for or refund money for airport transfers.
NB: Our Hostel is a youth hostel and not suitable nor comfortable for older guests (over 30 years old with prior arrangement only)
*NB: Free bag storage is available for a standard sized bag (one per person) on day of departure only. long term storage is available at a cost. Please check with reception for details.

Please note: Groups of more than 4 people need to contact us directly for approval a surcharge may apply for group bookings (minimum 25% and up to 300%).
New Year Policy:
There is a minimum stay please contact us for further details or book online now. We do not accept check-ins or check-outs on 30, 31st December and 1st January unless with prior approval and arrangement. Full payment is required on booking (50% on reservation and balance by 1 December). New Year bookings are not refundable. We strongly advise you to take out insurance.
Although the deposit to Booking agent maybe refundable according to their terms and conditions, the additional deposits/payments to the our hostel is not refundable – please consider this carefully when making a reservation and obtain travel insurance
Evicted?
If you have already stayed with us and for one reason or other you have been asked to leave, you may not use any online booking systems to make a new reservation. if you do we will charge you for the room, and cancel your booking and evict you again without a refund, a charge of $100 for re-eviction applies. Management reserves its rights to admit.
Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations made within 7 days of check-in forfeit the full amount of the booking. New Year reservations are not refundable.
Internet Pricing:
Internet prices are not available for in-house guests. Note if you book online and you are already staying you may have to pay additional charges(min $5 per night per person). Our internet rates are intro-promotional rates for new guests only. To get the best rate book as long as 21 nights online.
Same Room Policy:
Although we will try our best to accommodate you in the same room prior to arrival or within a few days after checking in, this is not always possible as we are a very popular hostel.
Independent Hostel:
We do not accept Government &/or Religious Organization funded Tourists; nor School and University Groups
Credit Cards:
We do not accept any credit card starting with number 6, if you use these types of cards your booking will not be guaranteed. A surcharge of up to 5% may apply to American express and diners club. If your card expires before your arrival we will charge you the higher of 10% or $20 per person of the accommodation cost as deposit.
Liability:
The hostel does not accept responsibility and reserves all its rights against loss, theft or damage to guest property. Although we care and have security systems in place, you stay and store your luggage and belongings at your own risk.
No Show:
No refund for now shows. We Recommend you take out insurance to cover your for any loss due to cancellation or change in your travel.
Airport pickup:
Free Airport pickup must be prearranged and only on full payment of room charges. Due to delays in flights we cannot guarantee immediate pickup. airport pickup is subject to availability of seat on our transport, therefore we advise you book well ahead. Min stay requirements apply. please contact us to arrange pickup. We do not reimburse cash for your tickets purchased at airport or from drivers.

• From the airport:
• Getting to Chili Blue Backpackers from the airport is easy!
• We are in the heart of Kings Cross and Shuttle buses depart from the international airport every half hour and can drop you at our door. (Contact us for tickets and directions)
• One way transfers are normally between $12-$16. Travelers tip: best to avoid purchasing a return ticket, as some bus companies are not very reliable for a return pickup. (Student prices for train are cheap and provide a fast alternative)
• Alternatively, catch the train from the airport to Central station, and then get the blue eastern suburbs line to Kings Cross. We are 100 meters from the station.
