The Spot Cosy Hostel deserves its cozy name as it is an example of what hostels should offer and how backpackers can benefit from staying at good hostels. It is a very good option for budget travelers with its very good price-to-facilities ratio.
The Location
The location is quite good as the hostel is located just 20 minutes on foot or two to three bus stops from the city center. The hostel is very easy to find. The neighborhood is nice as the Central Park Simion Barnutiu is just five minutes on foot, and you can start your city tour with a visit of the renovated Old Casino and have a walk in the wonderful park. The hostel is not far from Arena Cluj and Grand Hotel Napoca, about 5 minutes away on foot. The Ethnographic Museum is only ten minutes away. There is also a 24-hour shop which is just 100 meters from the hostel.
The train and bus stations are far, it will take about 30-40 minutes if you walk, instead you can take a direct bus from the train station. The Spot Cosy Hostel is just opposite the bus stop. If you are a small group, you can even take a taxi, it will not be much more expensive. You need to change buses from the airport.
Rooms and Bathrooms
There are 6-bed, 8-bed and 12-bed dorms, plus a private room. You get blankets, linens for free and a locker with a small deposit. The Spot Cosy Hostel is in a large separate house, so the rooms are big enough and there is enough free space. The rooms are clean and look fresh, the bunk beds are comfy and big.
There are showers on each floor and three toilets, which is more than enough as the hostel is not very big. You can lock the shower or share the space. However, changing space is small and mixed, so it might not be comfortable for everyone. There are no sex restrictions for toilets and showers, and they are mixed.
Common Spaces
The kitchen has everything that one may need; tea and coffee are free. Breakfast is also included. There is fast Wi-Fi which is accessible everywhere. The washing machine is available for a small sum, and you can get a dryer and an iron for free.
The common space can hardly be better. It is artistic, roomy, you can play games PlayStation on a big TV screen, watch TV, there are many games and there are enough sports programs if you want to watch a derby from your country. The best part is a huge yard with benches, mattresses and hammocks.

The Spot Cosy Hostel is an excellent place to stay in Cluj-Napoca both for a short and a longer stay. Plus, the staff can hardly be friendlier and more helpful.

• By Train:
• To reach us you can hop on bus nr. 27 from acros the street and 30 meters to the left from the Main Train Station.
• By Airplane:
• You'll have two choices to reach us with the bus number 5 or no 8. Please let us know if this is you choice so we can provide more accurate info.
• The airport is 9 km away, you will have to take 2 different buses. One from the airport to city center and then you have more option (more buses) to get here.
