Description

We are a small owner-operated hostel in a quiet, (no through traffic), tree lined street on the slopes of Mt. Eden offering affordable accommodation for independent travellers of all ages (The property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age).
Oaklands Lodge is consistently rated as one of Auckland's top backpacker hostels (BBH survey).
Kitchen, living rooms, TV room and all bathrooms are shared.
Most of our rooms are single, double and twin rooms or small share rooms with one large 8 share room.
All bedding is provided.

• 3.5km from city. Take Customs Street East Buses 274, 275 & 277 to Mt Eden Village shops. We are in the street just behind the ASB Bank.
• 16km from airport we recommend Supershuttle who will bring you to our door.
• Or just off Mt Eden Road by Mt Eden and Mt Eden Village
