“Krk“ Hostel is situated in the centre, within the historic core of the Town of Krk. It is set in the vicinity of all important historical and cultural landmarks and tourist attractions. Because of the abundance of history and natural beauty, the town attracts numerous visitors.
“Krk” Hostel is a listed building, the former “Krk” Hotel, built over 250 years ago. The hostel offers capacity for 61 people, has its own kitchen, dining room, restaurant with a terrace, bar, own free parking space and wireless internet connection.
Due to its location, the hostel is no more than 200 m from the main town beach and the main town square, and also about a 5-minute walk from all other facilities like shops, banks, the post office, coffee shops, discotheque, beach bars. During the summer season there are many available activities from which we suggest the one-day boat rides, panoramic underwater rides on a submarine, bike rides, carting, different water activities (jet-ski, ski-lift).

ACCOMMODATION
The 61 accommodation places are divided as follows:
5 double bedrooms (twin beds),
3 triple bedrooms,
5 four-bed rooms,
2 five-bed rooms,
2 six-bed rooms.
Due to the capacity of 61 accommodation places, it is recommended to make reservations in advance, especially with groups.
HOW TO GET TO US
The Island of Krk and the Town of Krk are well connected - to the mainland as well as around the island itself, so you can reach us with no difficulties.
Rijeka International Airport is located on the island, 26 km from “Krk” Hostel. Shuttle service can be arranged at an extra charge and upon request.
The local bus station is within 500 metres and offers links to Baška, Vrbnik, Malinska and other destinations on the island and on the mainland.
The charming islands Cres, Lošinj and Rab can be reached via Valbiska Ferry Port, which is 12 km away.

Summer hostel
what a nice building and what a great garden -- but in autumn when I visited Krk (october), my friend and me were the only guests. the rooms were nice and cosy at daytime but the night gave away how cold they wer -- no heating, only thin blankets and the windows and doors didn't close properly. it was freezing cold and the same for the restaurant -- breakfast with jumper, jacket, scarf -- just so cold those rooms. in summer all this must be beautiful, some rooms have sweet little balconies. I think it was just not the right time to visit Krk.
