Best option in budget hostel

What can you expect when you book hostel in budget range? Nice comfy house/hostel. The lady is very friendly. You got breakfast, kitchen, fridge, private bathroom. Rooms are clean, Lockers are good. location is good. Frankly it was good stay for me. And i would recommend to every hostel-seeker in Rome.

Star Rooms Hostel is a little hotel located in the center of Rome. You may find this to be an affordable, available place to stay on your Italian adventure!

The Location

Between Rome's train station and the Colosseum, you will come across Star Rooms hostel. It is a floor in an apartment complex, and because of this, there isn't much of an indicator from the street that it's a hostel. While this might make it tricky to find the location, it does provide an extra layer of security. It's located on a large street, but the rooms are far enough away from the traffic noise.

Rooms and Bathrooms

Upon checking in, guests are given three keys -- one for the apartment complex door, one for the hostel front door, and one for a large in-room locker. Dorm rooms include both bunk and single beds, with enough space to spread out. The dorms are often a better place to hang out than the common areas because of the space. The only downside to staying in a dorm is the lack of windows -- there is very little natural lighting or air flow. There are two bathrooms available to everyone, and guests in the private room have their own. Soap, towels, and hair dryer use are included in the room fee.

Common Spaces

One of the best perks of this hostel is that breakfast is available all morning! A decent selection of food is available, but be warned that it is nearly all carbohydrates and sweets. The kitchen has a stove and refrigerator available for guest use. In addition to the kitchen table, there are a few comfortable chairs near the dorm rooms.

Wi-Fi is spotty, but when it works it is best inside the dorm rooms. Because the hostel is small, you probably won't meet too many people there, but you will likely become close with some of your roommates, especially if you bond over making dinner or going out for gelato.

The price is right, the location is accessible, and it's typically not booked solid even in the height of the tourist season. There are a lot of options for where to stay in Rome. If you're looking for basic accommodations to help simplify your travels, don't hesitate to book a bed at Star Rooms Hostel!

clean, cheap, and functioning kitchen. Closer to metro. Enjoyed my stay.

I saw low reputation. but It was pretty nice. all staffs were so kind. They made italian food and gave me. It was so delicious.

Friendly Staff, Nice Location, Poor Facilities

The owner and the staff of this hostel were very friendly, I had to change my reservation and they were super cooperative to make things easier for me because they have several hostels and guest rooms in the area. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of space, they transformed an apartment into a dormitory with rooms over each other, even the corridors were closed with screens to create more rooms. the air conditioner wasn't on either but I didn't asked so I can't say it's a lie or something.

Overall if you're looking for something cheap, near the station and don't have a problem with sharing a room with a ton of people, this hostel it's a valid option for you!
