Normal Room. Unexpected charges
The rooms were pretty much normal, but i didn't like the unexpected charges of the room going from 45 to almost 60 euros.

Stayed one night ...
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative, the place is perfectly located in between the city and the train station, in fact i walked from the train station to the Hostel and from the Hostel to the city 10 minutes to the city and 15 to the train station. The room was spacious, clean, excellent bed, and the best of all was the amazing breakfast, possibly the best Hostel i've ever stayed.

Adequate, clean, and reasonably prised
The building and rooms can not be called cosy, but they where clean and tidy. Booked it through this website as dorm, but it seemed to me that all the hostel has are 2- and 3-bed rooms, we at least got a quite spartan, but clean room with 2 single beds and a also a sink. They where reasonably priced and breakfast was included, which was great and the food was quite nice. One really annoying thing though was that you have to be a member of Deutschen Jugendherbergswerk. If you're not, you have to pay for a one-year membership on the spot (7€), which is only useful if you're going to visit more hostels in Germany. Apart from this we had a nice stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the hostel lies at a reasonable walking distance from the old town.

Really great, very clean
After coming here from Berlin and staying in a bad hostel, this place was basically heaven. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The bar downstairs was great and the food wasn't so bad. We could walk anywhere in about fifteen minutes. The only negatives would be that because it is so large, you don't meet many people, and in the bathrooms, the lights are meant to save energy, so the moment you stop moving, you are in the dark!
Traffic : 2 stars It's a little far away form the main train station, You could change the S1 to Dresden Freiberger Straße, It's near the Dresden World Trade Center, not the main station or the old town area. Spots : 2 stars It's need more than 15 minutes to walk to the old town, where the most spots are around. There is no other better bus or tram could take, therefore, it'll spend some time to walk and find the way. Atmosphere: 3 stars It's quiet, no restaurants, bars, or avenue near the hostel, nice to sleep. Breakfast : 4 stars Good, everything you want, it has!! And it has the vegetable salads, fruits, and cakes(dessert), Great!! View : 1 stars It's a high building, but around it are all the other high building, so there is nothing you could see, just like live in the apartment house in a big city, you know what I mean. facilities : 3 stars Very clean in 2006 summer, and you do need to lay down a sheet on the bed, it's already before you live in, Nice! However, the number of bathroom is a few. Space : 3 stars Very small space in common areas, you need to wait the seat for the breakfast. But larger space in the room, and it's not the double-deck bed, good for sleep! Note : It's like the hostel in a big city, crowded, not only the young, but always a lot of family. However, clean and cheap to live in Dresden.
