I have visited Skaelskor in Denmark on many occasions and invariably stay in the most excellent Danhostel. The accomodation is first rate and is only exceeded by the hospitality of the mamnger, Jan, and his family. Real value for money!

Description

DANHOSTEL Skælskør Vandrerhjem is attractively situated in the middle of Skælskør forest which is only a short distance away from the idyllic town centre and the kilometre long, child-friendly beach. The area around Skælskør is justifiably called "Hans Christian Andersen Country". The fairy tale author loved these parts and visited the castles here countless times. Please check hostel for low-season prices.
