• Directions: From Dublin airport
• Bus: The cheapest way to travel to the Temple Bar Inn from the airport is by the number 16 public bus. Get off on D’Olier Street, (the stop after O’Connell Street) which is only a few minutes away from the hotel. To get to the hotel from there you just cross at the traffic lights at the bottom of D’Olier Street which will lead you onto a laneway called Fleet Street. Walk through Fleet Street onto Westmoreland Street cross at the traffic lights and turn right, then take the first turn left and we are right beside the Tesco Express opposite the Palace Bar. The bus takes approximately 1 hour and costs €3.30. You will need exact coins as notes are not accepted.
• By Airlink direct bus: The Airlink bus no.747 is the fastest mode of transport to our hotel, only stopping at designated Airlink stops. The nearest stop is stop number 8 on D’Olier Street. You can buy tickets from the bus driver. The prices are as follows: adults: €6.00 return: €10.00, child €3.00 return: €5.00
• By Express AirCoach Bus: This bus is available at all times during the day between the airport and Dublin City. The AirCoach stops on O'Connell Bridge. Tickets can be bought from an AirCoach representative at the airport or from the bus driver. The cost of the journey is between €7 one way and €14 return.
• By Taxi: A taxi from Dublin Airport to the hotel can take anything from 40 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day. It can cost anything from €30 - €40 also depending on the traffic.
• The tram (Luas): Get on the Luas (tram) at Heuston station and go to Abbey Street Luas stop, walk back to find O’Connell Street, and walk towards O’Connell Bridge. Ahead of you will be two streets take the street slightly to the right which will be Westmoreland Street. Cross there onto the right-hand side of Westmoreland street, continue on and take the first right. Walk up the lane and we are right beside the Tesco Express on your left.
