The Riverside Lodge is a Beautiful Bavarian style hostel located on the Blue River in Silverthorne, along the Summit County Bike Path system, featuring over 50 miles of paved bike path. The Factory Outlet Shops are within a few blocks, and all Summit County's ski resorts are only a short drive away!
Lodging accomodations sleep 4,6,or 8 persons in our popular Dorm Rooms. Our Family rooms accomadate up to 4 persons. Private single and double Rooms (w/pvt bath) are available for a small additional fee. Families and groups are welcome. Facilities for the handicapped are also available. A full kitchen is available for quests use. A midnight curfew assures our guests of a good night's sleep! Our Comfortable Facilities and Amenities include two living rooms with TV, social area for reading or games, and picnic areas. Kitchen facilities are available throughout the year. Summit County has over 150 restaurants, with many of the Riverside Lodge's favorites close by.
We are not just a ski lodge! As well as Winter sports and activities, Summit County offers Summer activities including, River Rafting, Hiking, Mt. Biking, Gold medal fly fishig, Off Road Trail RVing, World class golfing, Horseback Riding, Mining Tours, and more!
Across the street from the Riverside Lodge is the Silverthorne Recreation Center, which has a wide array of facilities, including four swimming pools, an indoor track, cardiovascular area, weight room, 2 raquetball courts,basketball courts and 2 hot tub/spas to soak at the end of a hard day. Admittance to the Rec Center is only $8.50 a day.
Next to the recreation center is Rainbow Park. The park facilities include a soccer field, picnic areas, playgrounds and state of the art skateboard park for the kids.
