It is right by the Termini station, which is very nice to go sight seeing. The staff was always very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.
BEST HOSTELS IN ROME
Great location, Great Staff, Great Service.
Average stay
No common area to meet or hang out with people. Kitchen was in a totally separate building that you had to get keys for at the front desk which was very frustrating. Front desk staff didn't bother to show us around upon checking in and after booking one night said that there was absolutely no room for the second night -- however online there was availability ... Also after booking and paying for a 4 bed dorm there was another bunk erected and two extra people put in the room making it a 6 bed dorm with no apologies or discount offered.
Convenient and friendly staff
The staff were approachable and helpful however, the extent of the help wasn't always great but it was enough. There was two of us traveling and we stayed in a 3 bed dorm but was lucky enough for no one else to take up the other bed. There was a little common room for us to meet people. They provided free meals two nights out of the week (pasta and cheap wine). The rest of the other nights, they provided coupon-like things to get cheap pasta from the same place. It was good though! I would recommend this place. We had to share the bathroom with the whole floor. They would clean it every day, during the lockout periods, but by the next day, that bathroom would be pretty awful.
Great hostel in Rome!!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The facilities were great and clean, and the beds were great as well. I found the beds to be very comfortable. Also, the girls at the front desk are SO nice and informative. They also had an awesome pizza night when I was there! They are great at getting people in the hostel in get to know each other and Rome. Sure, the breakfast was basic and not the best, but I found it nice that they even supplied coffee and croissants in the morning. I'd recommend this hostel to anyone, especially lone travelers!
Small friendly Hostel in a good location
This is a small hostel halfway up an apartment block (don't stay here if you don't like stairs!). It is just very close to Rome's main station which is really convenient. There is a small shop just round the corner if you want to buy beer/wine or anything, and an ATM across the road. The dorm's were quite small but clean and had air conditioning. It can be quite noisy at night because of it's location. They do free dinner each evening, just pasta and sauce but it's nice and a great way to meet other people. The staff were polite and helpful as well.
Clean, Nice, but not much social gatherings
4 nights. First hostel ever. Traveled solo. It was pricey at about 45 dollars a night during the busiest time of the year though and booking made only a week in advance. It was very clean, did have a/c but only for night time, a couple of the receptionists were pretty rude, rest were really nice. The breakfast sucked, spoiled milk and some stiff bread. Free pasta at nite was good. No social interaction, only randomly found people and asked to hang out, no pub crawls or anything organized. I would stay again though.
Excellent
For this being the first time I ever stayed in a hostel, I loved it. Our room was very clean and under each bed you are given a rollout draw to lock your items in. There is also other locker spaces available. The front desk was very helpful providing maps and directions. The 15 minute free internet was nice, although I had to wait a few times to use it. The best part of this hostel though was their free pasta dinner each night we were there. Nowhere else we went after gave us any sort of dinner and it is all homemade and all you can eat. We also could watch movies during dinner and afterward. The only issue was the light in our shower was our so we had to shower with the door cracked, but really no big deal. The bathroom for our room was kept clean which was nice. It is on the 2nd floor, there is a tiny lift to take up or you can walk if you arent as brave. I would stay here again, the free pasta dinner will save you a lot of money if you were on a budget like me.
