Hostel Home is a proper hostel that offers everything a traveler needs.
The Location
The hostel is located in Noth Roma, a district that is really close to the city center. It is surrounded by old buildings and a very historic and lively area. Around there are a lot of cafes, street stands, restaurants, and stores. It's an area to go for a walk and just explore, and if you are tired you can go have a coffee or drink in one of the many places. Also it is easily reachable with the Metro (Stop Sevilla - Line 1). Therefore you can just take the metro from the airport which is really cheap. The hostel itself is located in an old building with high ceilings and a wooden floor.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms in general are very spacious and have high ceilings, which helps with the bunk beds. The hostel offers dorms and private rooms as well. There are two six-bed and one eight-bed dorm available. What we noticed right away are the thick mattresses -- they offer good comfort for the night.
There are two small bathrooms and three single showers available. The toilets are not very spacious compared to the rooms, the showers are a bit bigger and both serve their purpose. Also they are clean and are kept this way.
Common Spaces
The dorm and private rooms are next to the common areas. One of the two common spaces overlooks the street and is furnished with comfortable canapés and a table with chairs. The second common space is more like a go through area with chairs and tables. The roof of this area is made out of some plastic material, which can cause some noise when there is heavier rain. Besides these two there is a little area with the computer (free to use) and some books. The kitchen gives guests the possibility to cook and has the usual kitchen equipment. They do not currently offer breakfast, but there is free coffee and tea for guests (and vegan milk!). Please bear in mind that nothing is new, but everything is kept in good condition.
Summary
It is very easy to find the hostel, since the description that comes with the booking is very clear and at the final destination of the metro is a detailed plan on which the Calle de Tabasco is also noted. So after about a ten-minute walk you are there. The big plus of this hostel is the surrounding area. It offers good eating and some bars. It gives a good impression about the Mexican culture and is close to the city center and tourist sights. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easygoing, as you would expect here.

Located in the heart of the historic Roma and Condesa neighborhoods in a great character building, Hostel Home is proudly the first backpacker hostel in Mexico City.
We are an open-minded house that welcomes diversity in all its forms. We appreciate art, community living and local buying, but above all we love Mexico, its singularities, its history, its culture and we enjoy talking and discovering the city with fellow travelers.
Hostel Home hosts interesting backpackers with usually amazing traveling plans. Together we work in making the house a space where we can share ideas, travel stories, music and food.

• where you can find coffe shops, pubs, restaurants and galeries. Also 5 min From Chapultepec ( Antropology museum) and 20 min from Zocalo.
• Directions from the airport: Head to Terminal Aerea Station (line No. 5) located just outside the airport.Direction PANTITLAN transfer to line no. 1 direction OBSERVATORIO get off at SEVILLA station and walk through Salamanca Street turn left in Av. Oaxaca and take Tabasco on the left find 303.
