The max HOSTEL lies in the heart of Bonn’s old town - slightly hidden in a quite cul-de-sac - but still in the middle of the city’s multicultural centre. Here you will find many pubs, bars and restaurants. The hostel offers the ideal starting point for all of Bonn’s activities. If it’s the “Museumsmeile” , the Rheinaue, with it’s parks, the university ot Beethovens birthplace, many attractions are within walking distance. The local bus and train services enable you to reach attractions which are further away in no time at all. Cologne is just a 30 minute train ride away.
In twelve differently designed rooms on two floors – from a single to an eight bedded room – we offer an individual accommodation at low cost. Both floors are fitted with separate bathrooms. Communication between our guests is, for us, a very important matter, which we take to heart. The difference to conventional hotels is that we give our guests the opportunity to make contact with one another, our comfortable common room for example. A place to exchange experiences and to prepare small meals.

• The hostel provides good instructions:
• "Subway: Line No. 66 (towards "Siegburg") for one stop to "Stadthaus".
• Tram:
• Line No. 61 (towards "Kopenhagener Straße") or Line No. 62 (towards
• "Oberkassel/Römlinghoven") for two stops to "Stadthaus"
• From "Stadthaus" cross the main road ("Oxfordstraße/Berliner Platz") at pedestrian
• lights towards city hall (the big, ugly building). On the right of the city hall turn into
• "Maxstraße". Follow the street for about 250m. You will pass several small shops, a
• bike shop and a mosque. Turn left into a small street, just before the restaurant
• "Mediterrano". The hostel is the third building on the left side.
• By foot: Leave mainstation towards city center and cross the road in front of you.
• Turn left and pass the car park. At the next corner turn right into "Thomas-
• Mann-Straße". Follow the street until it hits "Oxfordstraße/Berliner Platz".
• Cross this main road at pedestrian lights towards city hall. Then like above."
