• If you like to get to The Local, by public transportation take HAVAIST from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Sultanahmet Square. After arriving at Sultanahmet Square you have to walk down to Blue Mosque and keep Blue Mosque (grey historic building) on your right hand side and Hagia Sophia (red historic building) on your left hand side, keep walking straight ahead about 200meters as soon as you pass these buildings you will see Arasta Bazaar on right hand side of the street. Do not enter, stay on the street and pass Arasta Bazaar. As soon as you pass the bazaar turn right and walk downhill about 50meters and take first left and keep walking down about 200 meters until you get to the crossroads. Now turn right and walk downhill about 200 meters pass the underpass and 500 years old Ahirkapi Mosque and turn right. Our iconic townhouse is 3rd building on left. • If you are arriving from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and woud like to take public transportation take HAVATAS bus to Taksim. At Taksim after you hop off from the bus walk towards Istiklal Avenue about 200meters and you will see Taksim Main Metro Station. Get in to the station and find the FUNICULAR train and take it one stop to Kabatas. At Kabatas transfer yourself to TRAMS towards Sultanahmet.
