• From San Jose you need to get to the Puerto Viejo or Manzanillo at the South Caribbean side.
• You have a few options:
• By shuttle - a shuttle service is available every day at 6AM or 2PM from center San Jose or the airport to the hostel entrance. The cost is around $50.
• By bus - Direct buses for Puerto Viejo leave from the Terminal de Autobus Atlantico Norte located on Calle 12 between Avenidas 7 and 9 in Barrio Mexico in San Jose. Please make sure you are taking the bust to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca (also known as Puerto Viejo de Limon), the bus company is Transportes Mepe.
• If you take the direct bus to Manzanillo, you can get off at the entrance to Magarita Street at Cocles and walk 500 meters till the hostel. The direct bus to Manzanillo leaves once a day at noon.
• The direct bus to Puerto Viejo leaves San Jose every two hours starting 6AM. You will get to the bus terminal at Puerto Viejo and will need a taxi or a local bus to the hostel.
• The bus takes about 5 hours and cost around $10.
• By car from Aeropuerto Sixaola, head northeast and turn right (1.3 km). Turn left toward Route (450 m) and turn left onto Route 36. Pass by Cen Daytonia (on the left in 4.5 km) 18.6 km and turn right onto Calle Margarita (2.6 km) you will arrive at the property.
